Forecast: September 1-5, 2025 – Pisces Saturn, Virgo Mercury
As we build to Sunday’s full moon eclipse in Pisces, we spend the week setting the stage for an emotional final act. Tears are likely. Are we ready? Let’s get ready.
Yes, that’s dramatic! But tears come for many reasons, some profoundly rewarding.
Early Monday, retrograde Saturn moves from the Aries Point to the very last degree of Pisces. While it still conjoins retrograde Pisces-ruler Neptune in Aries, Saturn at the end of the last sign is a return to final judgement. Pluto may be death, but Saturn measures and marks the thread of life. Everything has a life span, even an idea or a desire.
Monday’s Sagittarius Moon moves through a grand trine to Mercury at the end of Leo and Chiron near the end of Aries — fiery. The mood supports Saturn’s shift with a need to evaluate, improve, and SHINE. It then squares retro Saturn before crossing into cardinal Capricorn to square retro Neptune. While the majority of the day feels freewheeling and chatty, nighttime is sobering, or perhaps it’s a dismissive dead end.
I suggest not frittering away an easy moment for following through with your have-tos, if for no other reason than that in the right mood, you might find them fun!
Tuesday morning, Mercury leaves theatrical Leo for realistic and practical Virgo, one of the two signs it rules. It moves through the point of a yod from Saturn-Neptune and Pluto, and a square to Mercury-ruled Gemini Uranus, all exact or past exact and waning by Wednesday morning.
Keep your mind OPEN. Rather than approach this with fear, soften your senses to accept whatever gems you encounter. Venus in Leo perfects its opposition to Pallas Athena in Aquarius as well; and together with Mercury, it’s like a pig out for truffles. But the prize is not truffles but something also tangible but important to you personally, built from the fruits of discernment and the ability to stand on the edges of both worlds and fish for a metaphorical whale.
This “fishing for a whale” is a whole thing of its own as Libra Mars squares Jupiter in Cancer. A Venusy Mars and a Moony Jupiter have plenty of drive, so we fight over meaning and fairness and what exactly to pull into the boat. But we do so politely, if we know what’s good for us. Better to pause to improve as you go rather than end up in a tangled mess. Laughing and generosity help a LOT.
Tuesday’s Capricorn Moon trines the Virgo Sun, so push off for the day with the knowledge that the more you stick to your goal, follow the path, and take things as they come, the better you will feel. Face forward, read the signs, and put one foot in front of the other. Leave everything better than you found it, and it feels like winning.
Overnight, the Moon works its way into a t-square with an opposition to Jupiter and a square to Mars; so your plate may fill up with other people’s business, or you may feel as though you don’t have time to do things the right way. It’s an overload.
This continues through Wednesday morning, until you can get yourself emotionally caught up and straightened out. The Capricorn Moon then heads into square with retro Aries Chiron by evening before heading into sextile with retro Saturn in Pisces overnight. Here’s a wrinkle: If you can control your emotional reactivity, you can get a hell of a lot sorted and done. Is there a need to blow up? If not, this could be a very potent puzzle indeed, one that pays off in benefits and in favors banked.
On Thursday morning, the Aquarius Moon sextiles retro Neptune, trines Uranus, and conjoins retro Pluto. Blow off whatever mood came before and power up some fresh, rejuvenating sparkle. This is the last day of Mars-Jupiter, so keep your sense of humor with you at all times and laugh as you work out the kinks.
Overnight into Friday morning, the Aquarius Moon opposes Venus in Leo. It goes on to trine Mars in Venus-ruled Libra through the afternoon. Once you figure out what you want, kick your follow through into gear and enjoy what you need to do to get there. Don’t know? Experiment!
Nighttime takes the Aquarius Moon into sextile with retro Chiron, so all that experimentation pays off in rounding off the rough edges and discovering how to make the gears hum rather than grind. Look for the opportunity to soften your own rough edges. Practical enchantments work wonders on your personal charm.
